Procedure

Sprinkle Acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylatecrosspolymer onto the surface of warm (45-50°C) deionized water. Begin gentle agitation after polymer has wetted out. Add glycerin. Heat batch to 60°C. In a separate vessel, combine phase B ingredients. Heat to 60°C. When uniform, add phase B to main batch. Mix until uniform (10-15 minutes). Begin cooling batch. When batch has cooled to < 50°C, add phase C ingredients to batch. Mix until uniform. When batch has cooled to < 45°C, add sodium lactate and diazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, propylparaben, propylene glycol to batch. Mix until uniform. Neutralize with sodium hydroxide to pH 5.8-6.1. Mix until uniform.
